If you listen to the comments of Tea Party members such as Bachman, Palin, and Cruz at small events such as fund raising events or radio interviews and them compare what they say at large televised national events you will see an apparent change in terminology and tone. Take for instance a recent radio interview with Michelle Bachman where instead of criticizing the President for sending arms to Syria that may end up in the hands of terrorists she said she would welcome the thought of arming radical islimists because it would cause more death and bring about the second coming of christ that much sooner. What the mainstream in America seems to miss is that Tea Party members are not in government to make things better but the opposite. They are bent on destroying the constitution and replacing it with a christian system similar to the Puritan System under Cromwell. Not a single Tea Party representative in Washington is concerned with fixing the problems facing the country but instead is there to advance their own political future and in the process sell more books and tickets to live events. Along the way more and more faith based legislation will be passed to appease this minority of loudmouths. Legislation that further erodes fact based sciences and replaces it with junk science such as intelligent design and more funding for home schooling so christians, jews, and muslims can further their own private agendas and create more separation and suspicion. We should all take a lesson from history in particular Germany in the 1930's when a small minority of radical Catholics used loud and crude methods to take control of a secular government that lead to the largest most destructive war in our history. Is the tea party to be compared to the Nazi party? My first thought is yes. Compare the use of propaganda and the enormity of the lies they spread. Statements issued from the Tea Party are so far from the truth one would think either they live in a different world or they are quite mad. I think that they know full well what they are saying and millions of cynical misinformed Americans listen and agree. Appeasing such people is not the answer. They must be fought like a disease by educated reasonable people everywhere.

Die sogenannte Tea Party, die etwas neulich in den Vereinigten Staaten entstanden ist, basiert auf derselben unvernünftigen Denkart, die die Einrichtung des Christentums als Staatsreligion des Römischen Reiches unter Konstantin dem Großen und anschließenden Kaisern möglich machte. Ich würde es nicht behaupten, dass die Tea Party so übel sei, wie die Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei sich erwies, doch muss ich gestehen, dass beide politische Phänomene, genau wie das offizielle Christentum der Spätantike und des Frühmittelalters, auf autoritativ definierten Aberglauben gegründet wurden. Die Geschichte hat vielmals gezeigt, dass diejenigen, die die Vernunft nicht beachten sondern vorziehen, Aberglauben zu folgen, sich manchmal ganz unmoralisch benommen haben und einige der schlechtesten Verbrechen gegen die Menschheit begangen. Prominente Mitglieder der Tea Party haben es klargemacht, dass sie sich den vernünftigen Methoden der Wissenschaft entgegenstellen, um eine gewisse Art Christentum zu fördern, die solche Tatsachen wie die Evolutionstheorie und das wissenschaftlich nachgewiesene Alter des Weltalls bestreitet und der ganzen Gesellschaft ihre auf wörtlichen Interpretationen gewisser Passagen der Bibel basierte Moral aufzwingen will. Dieser Moral gemäß sind Tea-Party-Mitglieder bestrebt, Abtreibung absolut zu verbieten, Homosexuellen das Heiratsrecht vorzuenthalten, das Geschäftsinteresse von Plutokraten gegen gerechte und ökologisch bestimmte Gesetzgebung zu schützen, und so weiter. Sie wollen das Mittelalter zurückbringen, wo der Aberglaube die Vernunft, der Mann die Frau, die Bibel das Gesetz, der Wahn die Wissenschaft beherrscht. Es wird sich herausstellen, wieviel Schaden die Tea Party verursacht.
